My parents went away for the weekend... So naturally I wanted to throw a party but it sucks now because when I realized this the weekend was here... And all my friends phones were on voicemail or they were with their girlfriend or they couldnt get a lift... My friends really are great but I know their always busy... I usually hold up pretty well in these situations but I was sad today... Is that normal? To look forward to seeing your friends?

Of course it's normal to look forward to seeing your friends! And it's a big disappointment when you don't see them when you thought you would!
But don't get mad at them for letting you down this one time, just find something else to do like watching a movie and eating popcorn! Have a fun night, and try to plan another party more in advance next time so then your friends will have a better chance of being able to go!

next time ur going to have a party make up flyers that have ur phone number and address and all pass them out at the mall n school u will have lots of people there than lol
