Ok, it's been a long time since I've watched this show, so somethings may be wrong, but I wanted to find some information in this episode.
In this episode, Inuyasha meets this demon that also used to love a human, but this demon thought that the human he loved betrayed him, and started to think that demons and humans have no future together. And then he says how she died later. I think he killed her, I don't know.
This is also about the time Inuyasha had doubted his feelings for Kagome....again.
Then later on, this human somehow comes back and reassures him that she had not betrayed him, that he had misunderstood her.
And Inuyasha, I think, kinda related himself to that demon....
That's as much as I can remember, but...please help. Just give me the number of what episode it is, and best, what it's called. I had looked through the summaries of practically every episode on the episode guide, but no help, I may have overlooked something...yeah, thank you for even stoping by

I've seen that episode recently (at least in the last month). My daughter and I are both racking our brains cause we remember that episode..but we are going insane. Sorry..We're still looking though. :)

I don't know what the episode numbers are, but it was a two-parter called "The Great Duel at Shoun Falls" and "Eternal Love, the Naginata of Kenkon."
The human woman was a samurai that encased the demon in a seal so that he would not be tempted by the kenkon blade. She was going to free him, but died before she could, which is why he thought she had betrayed him.

Well, my boyfriend is thinking that it starts with episode 137: An Ancestor Named Kagome and spans 4-5 episodes.

The saga starts in episode 137 and ends in 140. The demon's name was Hoshiyomi and his human/miko partner was Tsukiyomi.
