I assume you really mean "Ecuador to the Galapagos islands"?

Generally west. Get permission to go there first though, the islands are a protected area. Much better to get one of the guided trips.

That would be 270 degrees, dead west, from Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands.

first travel by land going east I know this sounds funny but just listen keep going east apx. 22,400miles you will land on the west side of the islands and noone will know your ther. or you could take the short route by going west and landing on the east side of the island

+ The other answers are all messed up you need to go around South America by going south first then north west to get to the islands. Actually you will need to go east for about 100 miles before you even get to go south to avoid Brazil.
