How many of the participants here would be able to "push" their politics on their friends and still have these friends? The term in pyschology is called "kicking the dog." You can't take your frustations out on people close to you, so you "kick the dog" so to speak. That's what they are doing in Y/A.

I think many people are not open to the fact that we all have different opinions and cannot understand how anyone can else cannot agree with them.
They lack the ability to accept others. They may never outgrow this way of thinking.

I seriously doubt an elected official is prodding us with their 'politics' on here.
I however most certainly assassinate opposing views.
I believe this is what the board is for.
