My wife fainted & hit the floor left side it seems when that happened she lost all feelings & movement from the waist down. Here it is 3 day's later she can move little at a time. What got me the DR who has these MD's said they can not find anything what went wrong or find anything just a Bulge Disc they got lost because she got feelings in her TOES but no where else from the waist down. They said they can not further help my wife. Also they never said anything about if my wife can walk again & get her feelings back. Now question will the Disc Bulge heal? What is best to do here? Will my wife walk again? Get feelings back?

DOCTORS!!! I went through a similar situation with a herniated disk. Get a new doctor ASAP!!! I was in excruciating pain for almost 2 mo. It was too the point that I had to use a walker to get around. I even had a neurosurgeon try to tell me it was all in my head when he could plainly see it on the MRI. I finally found a very good neurosurgeon. I had an apt at 11:00am on a Monday morning and was in surgery at 7:00am Tuesday morning. It was such a relief. I had immediate pain relief. Granted I wasn't pain free, but it was a big help. Took about another month before feeling good. Please Please call and get an appointment with a neurosurgeon and if one doesn't help her get another one. If the problem is a disk, once the pressure is released the feeling should start to come back very gradually. The longer she waits the more damage that's being done. This is caused by nerve pain and two medications that are great for this pain are Cymbalta and Lyrica. Discuss this with her doctor.

You need a new doctor! No feeling or control below the waist is a serious deal! Find another doctor ASAP!

She probably nicked or pinched a nerve REALLY good. she should get feelling back with in a month most commonly a few days. If not then go back to the doctor, and tell them they better look again.

Take her to the E R and let them know as no feelings is not a good sign.
