Think about what you will be putting this child through when she goes to school. She is going to have pronounce and spell this name. Then think about when she grows up. Will she want to put Oonagh Lucy, or Oonagh Marie on a business card. My husbands grandmother's name was Una Iona, pronounced with a long U and I. From the time she could tell people her name she went by Miss and then Mrs. and her last name. When she died her own children had to find her name from an old Bible because nobody could remember her given name. Of course times are different now you need to be a linguist to call roll in most classrooms.

I love Saorise...that's an awesome name.....Marie is sucha common name I would go with Lucy since it's old fashioned and classy but putting a name like Saorise with Marie sounds kind of off....just an opinion go with what you first fell in love with...congrats to both of you!

Oh God, are you serious?

You're kidding right?

Iam going to just go with this being a joke. No parent would really ever name their child Oonagh or Moira. lol.

I take that back, everyone else thinks your serious...

I thinkCalliegh is the easiest to wrap your eyes around and still be able to pronounce. And it sounds pretty. Thats like Cally right? Cali, Colli... along those lines.

I think its the prettiest of all, and the lest likely to cause her adolesent anguish.

Please not Oonagh or Saorise (I have no idea how to pronounce that) and your child will too! I do like Calliegh. What is up with the odd spelling? Why not spell it like it sounds? You will be forever repeating how to spell it to everybody (even family) I have a different spelling of "Carey" and finally just tell people to spell it how they like, otherwise I have to repeat the spelling to them 2 or three times...
