It depends on what Florida does in the SEC championship game against Arkansas. If the Gators win by a large margin, they will likely move up in the polls to take USC's spot. As long as they win, they will gain points in the computers because Arkansas is a top 10 opponent. Those combined could be enough to push Florida above Michigan in the BCS standings.

Michigan's problem is that they lost their last game of the season. That means no more chances to win any big games to improve your standing. You're basically hoping that the teams above you lose. USC has, so that's one rung you move up. What happens to Florida will have bearing on whether the Wolverines go to Glendale or to Pasadena. If Florida wins by say, 20 or more points, they will likely play Ohio State. If Arkansas comes back, or at least makes it close, then you may get your second crack at the Buckeyes.

1) as long as pete carroll is the coach and usc has the talent they have...the city will belong to the trojans...and the pac 10 too.

2) rose bowl is sweeter than emerald bowl

3) when was the last time ucla won 5 pac10 titles?

4) it has less meaning considering usc is in a ultimate rebuilding year compared to ucla

5) at least pete carroll and his team/staff are saying the right things unlike ucla...that's called class...i'm sure you don't have any...

6) do you want me to keep going?

7) it's college football...stuff happens...

8) both LA teams are rebuilding...usc lost more stars..but um, i keep forgetting...which team was in the national title picture at least?

9) one game means nothing nowadays...we've learned that this year....
