Skylar is a name that can be used as a boy and a girls name. Skylar spelled with an a is mostly used for a girl. Skyler is mostly used as a boy name. But when Skylar is spelled Schuylar or Schuyler can go either way but is not used as much as Skylar or Skyler. The most common is Skyler
