I stopped the pill 3 wks ago on a saturday. I had tummy bug and was off work with sickness and the runs the following thurs & fri. I've had cramps, tingling in the sides of the breasts, swollen stomach, clear stringy jellyish discharge(no smell), sore heads and been really really moody. I did a test a week ago (pee strip dip test) and one again this morning both negative. I would love a second child is my mind playing tricks like a false pregnancy or could i b pregnant and testing too soon?

It definitely sound like you're testing too soon!!! If you just stopped taking your pills 3 weeks ago then I can predict that you haven't had your second period yet or even missed it! Did you start your period right after you finished your pills? Either way, you should count about 5 weeks after the first day of your last period (if they are regular which they shoudl be if you were on the pill) and then try another test if you haven't started your period by then! If you have started your peiod then don't worry! Try again. It may take awhile since you were on the pill! Good Luck!

you need to go to your doctor and get a reliable test done after all the effects of the tummy bug
