Make all the friends you can. You can't have too many bff;s or casual friends. Bff's can be younger, older, ugly, or beautiful, matters not. Don't worry about what others think, be sure to have friends of all ages, you are not limited by anything when it comes to friends.

No, I don't think this is bad. If you guys get along well and can trust each other why not be friends. However, I do foresee a problem with your friendship in the future when you are able to date and she isn't, or when you can drive but she isn't allowed to go with you, or when you can stay out late, get into clubs and drink alcohol and she can't. If you guys really like each other and like value your friendship, you will be fine.

Firsly- You shouldn't be posting that you are 13 on here. You don't know who logs on here! (No offense to other users is meant!!!)

Second- Really, your best friend is a nine year old? No I don't really think that person is your best friend acctually, I just think they hang out with you the most, you you feal they are.

Thirdly- Yeah that can be a little foolish, what can a nine year old do for you? Help with homework? NO. Talk about boys, come one! She's nine!! I think you need an older best friend.

You need to put your head in your books. The both of you are way way to young to be even thinking about a boy friend-girl friend relationship. You're still wet behind the ears and the both of you are nothing but little babies. Go do some studying or go play with your dolls.

That's not so bad, especially if she's really mature and you're still a kid. There's a four year difference between me and my bestfriend, and I've known her for 25 years now.

It'll be kinda tough when you're teenagers, though. I know we kinda drifted apart during that time, but we still stayed in touch, and afterwards, we were even closer.

so your best friend is 9? No, its not bad that your friend is really mature. Just make sure that she doesn't do anything stupid like giving up her virginity...Just keep an eye on her...good luck

No most definatly not. Go ahead, be friends with her and don't listen to what others say. If they call you imature, you tell them that it takes a very mature person to relize that age doesn't matter.

I guess it is, if you like her. Honestly i would be kind of embarresed hanging with a girl at school or in the mall with a girl who looks so much younger than me. I mean wouldnt it be weird? Well i feel self concious when im in the mall with my younger cousin.
