where can i find a real friend?

At the market, the library, school, church, street corner, a restaurant. Almost anywhere, especially where I live, in Northern California. Picture this- a guy walks up to you, looking you up and down (or not) and subtly says, "looking good, girl" mainly because he wants to become a friend of yours, maybe something more, too- but also to get your attention and interest.
He's probably shy and or in a hurry and doesn't want to stand around, getting ignored. What do you do, girl? Ignore is the wrong answer or idea! You should talk to him, then and or go looking for him, in the store, or where ever, after he walks away. And like someone else said, you can get a real friend here, or else where on line. But to tell the truth, in person at one of the locations I spoke of, is safer! Of course you have gradually get to know the new friend, and work at it. But so what? You've got to do it. Don't procrastinate!

Just pray, and hope she falls out of the sky. No actually just join activity's that you enjoy and hopefully you'll find someone in common with you. Often times there are people at Church, in school clubs and right under your noise, waiting for a friend like you. Just get some idea of some people, get out the phone book and start calling!

You need to be a good friend to someone. Spend time with someone, not only when they are in a good mood, but especially when they're down in the dumpies. You pick them up, listen to their troubles, but don't be a doormat.
