Although i know all the answer to this question but i can't seem to find...how to do this project. First of all i need the "Purpose, Hypothesis,Procedure,Independent variable,Dependent variable, the Controls are, Result, & the Conclusion." If you are willing to help, please answer these question because I'am having a hard time thinking of what i should do with perfume & cologne for my project, all i can think of is these kinds of question for my science fair. So please help me find some info, I've done some research myself as well but it seem not to work!

A perfume is a concentrated scent. A cologne is a more diluted scent, with water. One touches a drop of perfume behind each ear (LOL). One splashes cologne on ones... The origin of cologne is Eau de Cologne, which means "water of Cologne," the French name of a city in Germany. The German term is Koelnisches Wasser (Koeln Water). In fact, I think that there is a trademarked brand, "4711," which refers to the street address of the company in Koeln where the product originated.

You need to consult with a cosmetics saleswoman at a high-end department store (Nordstrom? Fortunoff?) and buy cheap perfume and cologne. The only way to tell how long the scent lasts is to apply perfume and a drop of cologne to several persons according to directions. Then you need a judging panel to wait some time and smell the persons.

There is a subjective factor in perfumes, because the intense scent material interacts with a person's own skin chemistry to produce a unique time-odor profile.

The hypothesis is that after a time, applied perfume or cologne smells stronger, longer, different. Procedure, try them out. Independent variable, some people get neither perfume or cologne, but they get smelled behind the ears and around the cheeks.

You have chosen a difficult project because of the large number of people you must enroll to get perfume and cologne and to smell them. But later in your life, you will discover that there are no easy questions, and the experiments to find the answers are long, hard, and need numerous samples.

the purely thanks to attempt is to purchase a number of each . . Have numerous topics that you word them to & then at a particular time examine potential of smell at durations in the course of the day. operating example: Make left arm cologne and correctly arm body spray (yet do no longer tell the problem that's which) have you ever, the wearer and a million different human being smell try each arm and inform you that's superior each 2 hours. record the readings on your database.

Should I even bother to tell you that if you had started this when it was assigned you could have gotten your teachers advice...and probably a better grade.

So, tell me (or rather, write it in your paper) what is the purpose?

Alright...Now what is your hypothesis?

Uh huh, now how are you going to go about finding that out? (procedure)

and keep going.

good luck and start earlier next time.
