OK good questions. It was actually acl and mcl surgery. During surgery the doctor tried a new kind of screw. or screw driver if thats a proper term. It flexed and he missed where he wanted to put it. In that it turned and broke out a part of the femur. He then had to make a incision higher on her thigh to finish the surgery. Although her knee is healed she wakes up in pain at night simply by rolling over. We can not get straight answers because everyone assumes were trying to figure out are legal options and we are not. We just want to know what the long term affects will be. Thank you for your responses. Are private md will not even discuss it because he says it sounds like a medical legal issue. We just want to know what her long term prognosis is.
