i got in trouble yesterday at school and they called my mom. when i got home my mom sent me to my room after we got into an argument. about an hour later she came up to my room and told me i was grounded for a week and couldn't play xbox for a week. I called her the b word and she got really mad. she told me i was going to get a spanking. once she told me that i just laughed at her. she then grabbed me like really fast and put me over her lap and i tried to get her to stop and get away but after a minute of fighting her she had pulled down my pants and spanked me like 12 times on my bare butt. it hurt really bad and i cried. i'm 13 years old and to big for this crap.
i hadn't been spanked in like 2 years until yesterday. my dad is on a trip and comes home late tonight and i don't want him to spank me. should i say i'm sorry what should i do? my mom is still really mad.

i made fun of this crippled kid at school and then told a teacher to shut up after they gave me a detention. thats what happened at school.
anyway i told my mom last night i am sorry even though i am not. i just don't want to be spanked again. my dad doesn't come home until today it looks like. i don't know what is going to happen

You deserved it. You deserved a lot more punishment then not playing xbox and being grounded for a week. And then you call your mom the b word!!! HOW DARE YOU!!! YOU ARE A BRAT!!
When my son missed a few homeworks last year and lied to me about it he was grounded for months from EVERYTHING including TV, friends, phone, games....EVERYTHING!!!!
You got off easy with a spanking and a week grounding.

What you did was pretty nasty but the punishment you got was even worse. Depending on the force of the spanks, it could be considered child abuse and illegal. Your mom has no right to degrade you even more by pulling your pants down...now there definetely is something wrong with that. I think you really should apologise...probably through a letter so your mum has time to really think about it and you don't get a chance to raise your voice and make it worse but on the other hand you must also discuss in that letter how the spanking made you feel and how inappropriate it was. Maybe talk to a school nurse or guidance counsellor. It can be confidential if you want or they could also get your mum to come in for a talk altogether so she really knows how this affected you. In future just becareful about how you act at school and what comes out of your mouth ok? Good luck though xoxox

If I were you I would tell mom you were very sorry for disrespecting her and sit down and talk like the grown up you want to be treated like.Parents are human and we have feelings and when we get on to you it is because we are trying to make you the good person we know you are. But when you get in our face and talk back it is hard to see you as any ting but a child. 13 is a ruff age and you want your independence I respect that but you should always respect you parents. I'm sorry you got spanked if you think about what you did if you had not bad mouthed her and disrespected her you would have just got grounded from the xbox for a week instead you got humiliated for being disrespectful sorry kid you brought that one on yourself. Hi i am 12 and think you should not have talked to your mother that way and you deseirved to get spanked hard and grounded!! If i ever said that to my mother shed spank me just like your mother did and shed do more then take away xbox id be grounded 4ever!! U should say sorry for sure and you SHOULD be sorry. And maybe if you make up with her your father not be so mad but he still might spank you to. Since you already got punish i dont think he should punish you again.
I know what you going through and its not fun but it help us to remember how to act even if it sux. Last month i was arging with my mother bad when we were out shopping and i told her to shut her mouth and leave me alone and she got mad and when i got home I got a major spanking and i was crying too but later i kind of realize i desirved it and told her sorry and that really help.

Sounds like your Mom should never of stopped 2 years ago and maybe you wouldn't be such a brat.
Hope your Dad does it too. And if you call your Mom the b word again she should just slap you silly.
Your parents have enough stress in life without you being a jerk. Your 13 - time to start growing up.

Haha. I stopped getting spanked when I was like, 10 (maybe even younger than that, I don't remember). Of course, I'm a great kid.

What exactly did you do at school? Need more info to answer this question. It depends on what you did, If she got mad over something major then she could have been right! You are too old for spankings. I havn't been spanked since i was 8! Add more and tell us what you did!

If you ask me, I would say you deserved it like others have been saying it. I would say, show a little respect to authority and you will get respect - as in not getting a spanking. If your behavior continues you will more than likely land in prison someday where you will be getting more than just a spanking.

Apologize to you mother AND REALLY MEAN IT. What you said to her was awful and she did not deserve it. No, you are not too big or old for that treatment. You are acting childlike and that is why she is treating like a little child. When you grow up and stop acting like a little child, she will stop treating you like a little child. Until then, I hope you Dad gives you a swat too.
