Actually, most of the world respected Clinton. Carter, can't say much good about him.

I'm 61. I have memories of Presidents dating back to Truman. In my lifetime I can think of no President who has done our country more harm on the world scene than the present occupant of the White House. Speaking historically (before my time) I know of none from my studies of United States history. Just for fun, here's how I rate the Presidents of my lifetime:

Truman-------------B +
Eisenhower--------C
Kennedy------------B -
Johnson------------ C
Nixon----------------C -
Ford------------------C
Carter---------------C +
Reagan-------------B -
Bush # 1------------ C -
Clinton---------------B
Bush #2------------- D+

Part of the dislike towards the United States is that most people have short memories. They now forget that when there were two super powers (USSR and the USA) it was the USA that kept the other nations free from domination. Ask the citizens of Poland, Romania, Hungry and all of the "stans" how much they appreciated the US and its efforts to stop the further growth of the USSR.

No, I believe no other President has shamed the country as bad as Bush. Also, Jimmy Carter is known as being a humanitarian, so I don't really think he is hated much by the world. Right now he is working on Mid-East Peace.

I don't think the world hates us as much as the news media wants us to believe. If they do it's not because of bush, it's because they are jelous of our freedoms as americans. Personally I strongly support President Bush because he has taken the actions that needed to be taken to preserve that freedom. I agree he hasn't had a perfect presidency, but you have to remember how everyone laughed at Ronald Regan and his star wars program. That turned out to be a great idea, but Regan was out of the spotlight by the time everyone realized he was doing the right thing. The true outcome of Bush's presidency will not be known for atleast another few years. Honestly if I was in his position I doubt if I could have done a better job leading the country at this time. That's what you have to ask yourself before you bash him, could you really have done a better job in his shoes?

about the American people I don't know but about the leader Bush himself without a doubt. He did everything wrong, from refusing to take part in Kyoto over lying to European allies who supported his Iraq war, mostly against the will of their own people, about secret prisons to letting Rumsfield insult some of the closest allies of the US by calling them old Europe.
The arrogance and lack of respect we got from this president has never been seen before and we are the allies. We are friends of the US,we can keep secrets to as proved in the cold war but Bush choose to lie even while our soldiers were dieing to.

HEY...........Doing what is right is not always popular. OK? I don't totally back what we are doing in Iraq. I think alot of our military men and women are getting hurt or dieing for no real good reason. But we have to protect our country. If this is what it takes, if this is what history has taught us, then we need to go ahead and do this. I think if we pull out of Iraq, we could get hit again. I think our troops should stay there permanently just like we are staying in Germany. That region of the world is too unstable. America needs to stay to stabilize it. If we don't, who will? Are we ready to get hit again? I certainly am not.

I'll never respect Clinton because he could have blown away Bin Laden and didn't. BTW, why should I care what anyone thinks, let alone a foreigner who has no say? Leading is not about popularity - ask Truman about that Atom Bomb and see if the Japanese thought it was popular with them.

NO, the dog Bush and the pig Cheney win hands down, and thank them for allowing soldiers to die and get maimed when their military records are shameful.

May God Allmighty, Creator of Heaven, Earth, and Kings, give them their just punishments.
