NO! because it has been proven, time and again, that wherever the US sticks its nose (invited or not) creates much bigger and worse messes for any and all involved!

The Us will gather together enough countries with business ties related to Syria and Iran and bring them into the mixture. The only thing that is ever going to bring those countries into line, would be GUIDED MUNITIONS sent to the radical leaders of Iran and Syria compliments of all civilized nations in the world!!

The US can do nothing directly. By delaying the cease fire in the war with Israel we alienated the Lebanese people so our backing would not help any side. Perhaps we can do something behind the scene to help. France still has some influence and UN peace keeping countries may also.

It is not the responsibility of the US to police the world. We are not the hall monitor dictating to everyone how things should be done. Sometimes countries have governments that we dont like and thats just how it is.

I'm sure they will be just as grateful as Iraq is. Expecting middle eastern Muslims to behave in any kind of rational manner is unfortunately a lost cause.

Our current government ( BUSH) sent us in to a war that wasn't warranted. If Bush said you are "doing a hell of a good job" I would run for the hills. this area is only our business because we want their oil! Bush is a drunken fool
