I thought it was an excellent movie - a major underlying key is that Samuel's character is a recovering alcoholic. Alcoholics tend to deal with normal, everyday situations on a more dramatic level than normal people. The fact that he's trying to buy a house and get his kids back, and then this gets ruined by the rude and selfishness of Ben's character when they originally meet on the highway - just totally sets him off on a very bad spiral downward - and to which Ben's character actually does the same.

I did and I thought it was a very good film. It was engaging throughout and the characters were well perceived and created well by the actors playing them. As for the plot and how the characters turned out in the end, I tend not to think too much about it, I just enjoy the film for what it is.
Definitely pick it up on DVD now though.

IT WAS AN EXCELLENT MOVIE. IT SHOWS HOW PEOPLE'S LIVES CAN FORCE THEM INTO "LOSING IT". WE SHOULD HAVE EMPATHY FOR PEOPLE WITH THE KIND OF PROBLEMS HE HAD AND HOW HE TRIED TO OVERCOME IT. GRANTED, HE CREATED HIS OWN UNHAPPINESS, BUT IT THAT REASON ENOUGH TOKICK A PERSON WHEN HE LYING DOWN?
