The money I feel that I wasted, buying the new Cat Stevens cd was more than made up for, in the new Bob Dylan offering. . .
What's your opinion?

I didn't know Cat Stevens had a new CD out, but I did buy Bob Dylan's. The commercial he had on TV for it was horrible, but the CD itself was fantastic. In fact, I'm listening to him right now (older song though, not from his new CD....Joey). Bob Dylan is one of the best and I don't think he could ever do a bad CD...I guess its possible, but very unlikely.

I love the new Bob Dylan CD...I've always loved all his stuff and was fortunate enough to see him in concert in '97. I always liked Cat Stevens too but didn't know he had a new CD. I thought he gave up all that commercialism for his religion.

Personally I wouldn't buy either of those. Bob Dylan's voice makes me wonder how he ever got a record contract and Cat Stevens' music should stay in the 70's where it belongs. I liked some of Cat's stuff back in the day but if I were to buy it now, I'd listen to it 1st on amazon.com before wasting my money.

No offense, but I wouldn't buy either one of those. There's something about Bob Dylan's singing that makes my skin crawl, and I had my fill of Cat Stevens (or Yusef Islam, or whatever the hell his name is now) when I was growing up because my dad listened to him all the time.
