Is it true?
I am 25 and I got quite worried that I would not be able to have kids
Should I start trying for a baby as soon as possible?

I don't know if it's true or not. If you have had investigations or a scan that showed that you have a small womb, then it could mean problems for you.

About 1% of women have malformations of the womb, or uterus. These can vary in severity and type. Some will require surgery, some won't.

The best thing you can do is to get referred to a gynaecologist, get yourself investigated and discuss your worries.

The worst thing you can do is rush out and try to get pregnant just for the sake of it.

Good luck.

I know exactly how you feel ...

Last year 2 specialists at the hospital told me that I may or may not have Marfan's Syndrome and that I might not be able to have children, and if I wanted them I should have them right away.
But I'm single. I desperately want to have children, but so far have resisted the very strong urge to rush out and get pregnant, though it is something I think about a lot. You're still young (2 years younger than me), and I think you need to give it a lot of thought before you do anything. Remember, having a baby is a really big deal.
That said, I would completely understand if you wanted to start trying for a baby right away, I would too if I was in a relationship.

If I was you I would not worry about that because some doctors do not know what they are talking about. I am talking from personal experience... I was told that I could not have children also and now I have 4 children..

Get a second opinion, do not go by what 1 doctor says... Good Luck too you...

That sounds stupid for a doctor to say that!! I am sure it will not be a problem to have kids!! the womb will most likely stretch to make room for the baby!!

I wish I had a dollar for every woman Ive met who told me that a Dr. said she couldn't have a baby. I have no doubt that many a woman with a small uterus have had healthy baby's!

Trust you body over a doctor.

It sounds untrue to me. I've never been pregnant before, but everyone I know had children without any issues. I think your doctor might be tripping. =-P I dont think you have to rush into pregnancy, though. If you're worried, you can try, but dont think "oh my god if I dont do it now it's never gonna happen". I think you wont have any issues.
