Nobody should win the Heisman this year. There is NO great player. Definatley not Troy Smith(who is likely going to win it). I'd go with Brady Quinn.

Jorvorskie Lane is better than Ian Johnson anyway.

Darren McFadden(Ark) 07 Heisman
Mike Goodson(TexA&M) 08 Heisman

Troy Smith. I seems like it helps a player when his team wins a lot and some players don't get enough credit for what they did because they are from a smaller school. Troy Smith was good enough to win heisman and his team won alot and has a lot of publicity so that also helps him.

You have to go with Ohio State quarterback, Troy Smith. They went undefeated, and Smith was so amazing. Brady Quinn, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback, also had a very impressive season. And your Boise State Broncos' schedule was not very tough:

Sacramento State
Oregon State
at Wyoming
Hawaii
at Utah
Louisiana Tech
at New Mexico State
at Idaho
Fresno State
at San Jose State
Utah State
at Nevada

Its Troy hands down! I was hoping Brady Quinn for Notre Dame but after he effed up so bad in the Usc vs. ND game he doesnt deserve it! I still love ND but Charlie Weis isnt doing very good!!! and he signed another 10 year contract with ND! I just hope USC gets there butts kicked in UCLA vs. USC!!!

Don't know who will win it this year, but in the future keep a eye on the running back name Slaton at West Virginia.
