yes i know what its like...i once heard somebody say that how you are as a child will probably reflect how u will be as an adult..for example i always rememebr being lonely as a child and i still am..as for u you have to stop and ask urself what is causing these feeligs..do u not have enough friends? not go out as much? do u feel something is missing? if u can try to work on it to help the feelings of loneliness lessen if not completely go away form ur life good luck hun

By now the typical 38 year old Western woman would be married with two children. If they ever have the time to meet you their conversation will be dominated by the life of their kids. To compensate you will drive yourself into your work, paying taxes to support the raising of kids other than your own.

Bars and clubs are intended for younger people and you feel insecure going there to meet friends. The available men would either be gay, taken or "something is wrong with them" (that attitude alone scares off anybody decent remaining in the available pool).

If this scares you, you do however have advantages. Like single guys you have the flexibility to change cities, professions or other major parts of your life. For guys looking for a partner, if you don't have children then that is a major turn on. And most guys would rather date an attractive slim woman ten years older than a younger woman who is two weight classes heavier. You can't change age but you can your weight.

Go out and do something with your life.
Geez, common sense.

Because it is so hard to make friends when you are older, unfortunately.
