I stay at a house in the South of France (it's in the Med) which always seems to be sunny. It is, however, not the warmest place in the world at that time of year and in the wind it can be positively chilly. If you want sunshine *and* warmth, then somewhere nearer the equator, such as Italy. However, nowehere is going to be like the temperatures you would get in the late summer

Europe and sunshine is hard, I have travelled extensively and it is hit and miss everywhere, but the best place will be the most southerly part which is the Algarve, actually be on the beach on New Years day there!!!

sunshine Spain Barcelona top place because it has good night life i give 8out10 than gran canneries7 out 10 London is good but exp but if not Europe top place to be at veges 9 out 10.i don't give 10 out 10 is for heaven when i go or Dubai,Goa. where ever u go have fun.

Try Greece, it's about as south as europe gets and has pretty much all year round sun, and the islands are just stunning

europe and sunshine in winter not many places try southern europe may get some their but its not guarented save your money and go in spring or summer instead

I think the Canary Islands are quite nice all year round - and even though they are of the coast of Africa they are ruled by Spain so are technically a European resort.

Canary islands, parts of Spain off Morocco coast, but very crowdy!
I was there last week, y'de better reserve in advance.
