why is it in amazing race, d other person should ride at d back, not beside his or her teammate in cars..?

I don't watch reality shows but logistically the cameraman would be able to record both contestants better from the passengers side rather than sitting in the back televising only the back of people's heads.

Yeah its cause the camerman needs somewhere to sit and see everyone.

cameraman needs somewhere to sit. it does look weird tho doesnt it?!!!
