For dark circles under your eyes try using a cover stick that is yellow in color make sure to blend it well and then depending on the tone of your skin ie is it olive(green undertones) , sallow (yellow undertones) ruddy (reddish undertones) The answer to that question will tell you what color of base will work for you for olive skin choose a base that has a slight reddish color to it. Most make-up lines have the colors separated by your skin tone like Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall.
Without actually seeing you so I can see your hair color eyes and skin tone I really can't do more than tell you what I have. You may want to go and get a professional make-over done (most of the larger department stores offer them for free only drawback they try to sell you their product but you don't have to buy it) Pay close attention to the colors that are used so that you can get similar ones somewhere else if you dont have enough to purchase theirs (usually pretty high priced) Or you can even try calling some cosmetology schools in your area to find out if they have any senior students that can give you a make over and a facial. They do not charge allot for the services they offer and remember....Every Sylist starts out in the same way even the rich and famous ones!
Well good luck I hope this answers some of your questions a bit!

An early night would probably help the most (says she, on answers at midnight with no intention of sleeping just yet). Other than that, you want something light reflecting under your eyes to lift the dark rings. Then match foundation to your skin tone, don't try to go darker it will just look orange and cheap. Give yourself a lift with some rosy blusher or bronzing powder on the apples of your cheeks and your cheek bones.

You'll look great.

The best thing for getting rid of the darkness under eyes is touche eclat by yves sans lauren. It's about 15 quid but it is really worth it and it comes in all skin colours so you can match your skin around the eyes.

go to boots if in England and ask a cosmetic counter person that. a touche of eclat or what ever its called will help with the dark rings and anything called translucent will be OK as a base or powder but why bother if your skin has an even tone you dont need to cover it up ok some colleges offer cheap /free make up tips in beauty dept as they always need models to pratice on

Go to a good make-up counter and get them to recommend a colour. the dark circles can be camouflaged easily with good concealers Touche Eclat is the best but expensive.
