well try getting something fast but not aggressive the mollies could be breeding and they are just getting aggressive towards each other.
i would say get a shark of some sort(not the salt water ones- calm down) get a I.D shark or red-tail black shark because they do not harm and are usually not harmed and or just try adding community fish to your tank.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to say, but your fish are really unhappy. They all have different requirements.
Goldfish fish are coldwater fish, which means they require temperatures of 68-72F.
Your cichlid is probably a south american fish, which means they need water temps of 78-80F
Your mollies are tropical brackfish (semi-salt water) fish, which means that they need water at 78-80F, and they need some salt in their water. However, they can live in freshwater.
All pufferfish should be all alone in a tank. They do not get along well with other fish, even other puffers. If they don't pick at the other fishes' fins, or have their own fins picked at, they are very stressed with other fish around. And many puffers are brackish water fish. Please look into that.

Also I don't know how big your tank is, but your goldfish, if he is a fancy goldfish, needs at least 20gallons to himself. If he's not a goldfish, he'll need something like 100gallons, preferably a pond.

You should try to find homes for your puffer fish and your cichlid, and your goldfish. Your petstore would probably take them and give you store credit or something.

Then you can focus on your molly. I don't know why your molly would be aggressive, but it is possible that they are males. Try getting a whole bunch of females. That should calm down the rowdy boys!

Also, there is nothing wrong with bringing all your fish back and starting from scratch. i know it's hard to do, because petstores are full of incorrect information (remember - petstores are there to sell fish! they do NOT give good care advice).

Above all, before you buy ANY fish, please research it first.

Someone mentioned to get a female betta. Do NOT do that. Female bettas are very shy fish. With aggressive fish around, they may not eat and stress/starve to dath.
