A real good quality for a small 10 x 11 room. I don't need it to be loud, just loud enough for me to hear in my room.

By the way, can you tell me the watts given off by the basic speakers that come with most computers so that i can compare the two.

If you type in surround sound at walmart.com, click for it to list Lowest to Highest, then look for Audigy for $29.99 and Durabrand for $39.87.

I was wondering, are those a real good quality for a small 10 x 11 room. I don't need it to be loud, just loud enough for me to hear in my room.

By the way, can you tell me the watts given off by the basic speakers that come with most computers so that i can compare the two.

if you want quality speakers see www.dabs.com the creative inspire t7900. great speakers. as for the audigy sound card yes it is a good card i bought an audigy OEM direct from dabs.
the t7900 are 7.1 surround sound but then i have one system outputting 7.1 and the other outputs 5.1 so they suit my needs. but durabrand is a great make i have a durabrand VHS recorder and DVD player combination device and the video quality on the VHS is as sharp as digital TV or DVD movies. meaning the quality is better compared to the last VHS i had which was a panasonic.
is that room measurment of yours feet or meters?
my lounge is around 3 meters by 5 meters and with the speakers at around 25% or less the audio can be deafening from the creative inspire speakers. and on 50% maximum and above the sound is loud and crystal clear evenwhen i'm in my kitchen with the taps running (I can hear the system clearly) ok my kitchen is only a forther two or three meters from the speakers.

any how thats my PoV. good luck.

attempt a distinct PCI slot first, even if it will be the cardboard is lifeless and it is imparting you with a puzzling time. that appears like a sound Blaster stay! card, that is quite previous and it would want to have died on you. My Audigy 2 purely passed on to the great beyond on me some weeks in the past.
