There's this really cool CD that I found out about on iTunes actually. I think it's called Christmas Remixes, and it's these really fresh, upbeat remixes of old Christmas songs. If that's too modern for you, and you're looking for the more, traditional Christmas choice, I also would suggest Michael Buble's Let It Snow album. He has an amazing voice, sort of Frank Sinatra in the way that it's really warm and rich, and he just sings a couple traditional Christmas tunes and a modern one called "Grown up's Christmas List" which is quite cute. I also really enjoyed Sarah Mclauclan's new album, which has all the traditional's but with an extra punch. She's added a bit of herself to each recording, one even has an Indian theme, which I think is because of her husband's, who has Indian backgrounds, influences. Last but not least I really enjoyed Sufjan Stevens Christmas Songs album. I went to his concert, and he's really amazing. It might not be your taste, because he's quite indie, but a recommended favourite is the song "That Was The Worst Christmas Ever". It made sound morbid but Sufjan just does something with the music that's so folky and multicultural that I love. I hoped I helped and Merry Xmas!
