He'll never really be yours (friend or partner) until he has completely finished everything with his wife. He needs to emotionally break from her before he can be totally into anyone else. He needs to do everything he can to save his marriage. If it doesn't work out, then at least he knows he did everything he can and he can move on without regret, enabling him to forge new relationships. It may be hard for you, but allow him this space and see what happens in the future. You deserve to be loved totally by someone, not half heartedly.

He must have very Strong feelings for his wife or he would not have this problem. It is not confusion. It is trying to figure out how to have the best of both worlds. Go your way and find a single man. Another good friendship bites the dust.

he still has feeling for his wife and after a year he has not been able to figure things out. i think i would move on. why should you sit back waiting in the wings for him to make up his mind? what if you wait and she decides she wants him back? he will dump you to be with her. let me add that when she finds out he is with you she will want him back. only because she does not want anyone else to have him.then after she gets him and you are out of the picture she will dump him again.you don't need this emotional roller coaster. move on.

Leaving may be the best thing to do. If he still wants his marriage to work out, then that should be his priority. You'll find someone else.

If there is any way possible get out now..It doesn't get any easier only worse. Let him make up his mind get a divorce or whatever and then see if he still loves you. Its a tough situation.

Leave him and let him decide without confusion. If it's you he really wants, he'll be back.
