If its an adjustable steering column 'for angle' maybe the catch is not in its proper place check if it is otherwise the central nut on the column in the middle of the steering wheel may be lose.

Problem probable lies in the steering box. Probably rack and pinion. It could also be the C/V joint in the steering shaft (located 3/4 way down the shaft and usually has a rubber boot on it. Sometimes the needle bearings wear out prematurely. Or you may have bad bushings on the tie rods. Anyway, this can be VERY dangerous, and you need to have it repaired.

It is possible for a steering wheel to loosen up with time or for the bearings in the tilt mechanism to wear out. I would take it in and have it looked at as soon as possible. The longer its like that the more likely it is you'll damage it more by using it or even have it come off in your hands driving down the road. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!!

I don't know if you have a problem or not. It is only 4 years old. You shouldn't be having a problem with the steering arm ends or the tie rod ends. You could see if you have any play in them, but I doubt it.

The best thing to do is have it checked out by an expert. Maybe you have a friend or a member of your family that can test-drive it to see if it needs to go into a repair shop. I'd rather be safe than sorry later.

have someone look at it.it sounds like something is loose in the front end, like a ball joint or tie rod.please be careful, when driving it.just get back home and dont drive it till you get it fixed, because if something falls out,it could kill you and whoever else is in your car.

I don't know myself. Go to the dealership or a car shop or something like that and ask them about it.
