try some bloom start plant food.but it probably wont bloom Intel it gets warn again.best of luck!

BOP is one of the easiest of plants to keep-- as long as you live in paradise.. Thier main need for good blooming is to be dug every few years and divided and refreshed with new potting soil with oyster shell, blood meal, bone meal, and hi nitrogen fresh compost.. bird poop, green grass, wood chips in equal parts..If it ever freezes or gets under 36 degrees it may die..

How old?Only live 4-6year's.Need's full sun.light moisture,limit water in winter.Fertilize every 2 week's .Extend bloom by dead heading.Difficult flower to grow and keep.Full sun need'ed.protect from frost. Bird-of-Paradise (Crane Flower) strelitzia reginae strelitziaceae That's just the real name's added in.I don't know either.

Have you tried separating it if it is a big clump of birds? What about fertilizer? May try that, something with a bloom booster, not just a lawn fertilizer. Have you checked for pests? Just a couple suggestions to start on.....

they're rather annoying to germinate. i ended up procuring a small plant.The nursery advised me it would take 7 years in the previous it flowered. ( we moved in the previous then so I dont recognize what got here approximately.).
