man's perspective. Whether ya wanted it or not.

I dunno. Know what I've seen. The usual aftermath. Tub ringed with foam, dead skin and pubes. Some blotchy patches here and there on her and red buns from sitting on a hard tub bottom, or some really amusing patterns if you have dots or grip strips on the tub, and maybe - just maybe - some great sex afterward if you knew your old lady was partial to the bath stuff and planned ahead and got a really long hose for the shower massage thing, and you wrestled it away from her before she wore herself COMPLETELY out with it.

OINK.

Oh smially, Your missing the feeling of your mind and body melting into a blissfully relaxed state, the hot water, the relaxing aromatheraputic oils, the bubbles-bliss-you can also lock the door and be totally and utterly self indulgently decadent for a short space of time, Until of course some idiot comes hammering on the door "'cause I gotta pee"

relaxing. both from the quiet and the amount of time spent. the water also eases the muscles and relives tension. there is also mental relaxing because you're in a good state with positive stimul (hot water, possibly a bath pillow, nice scents, ect). you can just ease everything down mentally, physically- inside with your muscles and outside with how the water feels on your skin.

men should really try this- if you watch friends you can see the positive effect it had on Chandler. just try different soap and bath oils/bath salts. candles help because they keep the room lit but not bright. use non-scented ones if you want.

You know, I'm a girl and I never liked bubble baths. But I do like long, relaxing showers. ;) Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I take bubble baths, or like them.

Some girls like them and some don't.

P.S. It's not just girls who take bubble baths.

Relaxation we dont take baths just for the purpose of washing. It feels like the stress melts off of you.

I second babygirl's answer! That's exactly why I take a bubble bath.

for me its 5 or ten min where i am totally sitting down resting my entire body a time to force my self to just sit and soak. if i shower i tend to hurry through it and if i close my eyes i might fall if i get to dizzy from the extream heat i like in the tub i can close my eyes for a bit and just clear my mind and i think it also takes us back to our childhoods when we had time to play and felt safe from grown life so we try to go back if for a bit

i am of the opinion, women are naturally more vain than men, and are good at taking care of themselves. having a good long shower really make us feel good, smell good, and gives us a great feeling. why do you bother so much?
