Just happened last nite. Guy was bragging on his bike and how its used in a certain class of racing in Germany...bogus lies. We let him lie, he took a lot of time building his fantasy world.

I keep a straight face and listen to them. However, privately I am pretty disgusted that they feel the need to lie to achieve their goals.
Confronting the person with the lie usually leads to conflict; however in some situations it may be necessary.

Honestly i let them know right then and there but only after they have entertained me with their lies. Then I'd let them know that the foundation to all relationships is trust. Obviously!!! we don't have it. Its been good but i have people that I'd prefer to deal with because they are honest with me,unlike some people i know.
"Hey have a nice life". Peace.
Is what I'd say

Look them straight in the eyes, look deep into their souls and say nothing. They will know you know the Truth and they need to deal with it. May I suggest you reduce the contact you have with them . Also where are you lying to yourself? mirror rorrim

it verily depends on the situation............if they are real close to us we might not say anything, or just ignore the lie.......................if the person is just familiar to us not too close, we might lose temper, start swearing if the lie is being said in a real serious situation and stuff......

but most of the times i just go to the person and say infront of him that he is lying, doesnt matter whoever he is, even if he is my dad.
and sometimes i just prefer to keep quiet if the situation is not serious, and lie is being said in jokes, or it really doesnt matter if somebody is lying or saying truth........

Depends on who, where ,when and why .If someone's trying to manipulate me I don't stand for it.I expose their lie so everyone can see it then let them drown in their own B.S.

It depends on who it is....and what they are lying about(and the situation). But yes, I usually confront people when they do that.

I usually point out inconsistencies in their story, or ask questions that point out that they are lying *******.

If i know them ..i would tell them to stop bull shitting...and if i don't know them ..Just see them for what they are ..then question every thing they say ..never believe them... even if they tell the truth I would question ..and once i got to know them ..i would tell them to stop bull shitting ..never trust them ..and never take them serious ..

I would act angry. People really should just tell the truth, no matter how horrible it is. Wouldn't
you agree?
