Difficult for a young person to earn money these days isn't it? There are some good suggestions above. You might check out whether or not you can get a work permit or not. I don't know if such things exist any more. I started work stocking etc. at a hardware store when I was real young. Also found an older couple who had some fruit trees that they couldn't take care of any more, and in exchange for taking care of their orchard I got almost all the fruit which I sold door to door. Lots of exercise in that because the doors were often a mile apart. Also delivered papers.
The big problem today is probably insurance. everybody is afraid (or their insurance companies are) of getting sued if you hurt yourself working for them. The government wants them to register as employers etc. etc. Things are really out of hand since we allowed lawyers to reproduce.
Have you considered starting a business of your own? If you knew a bunch of kids that were reliable for yard work, baby sitting etc. you could put together a list of them, then offer people referrals who were looking for that sort of service. Kids wanting to work would have to let you know when they would be available, and people would call you (put your number up at stores etc.)
With a little luck you could be brokering minor services on a large enough scale that your commission (flat rate or percentage) would make it worth your while. An awful lot depends on the community where you live.
Small scale delivery service seems like it would have the least problems.
Good luck.

Helping around the house.
Make a list of chores you think you can do well. Eg: vaccuuming.
Set a reasonable price. Eg: $5.00 (for a large area)
If mum & dad arent interested get permission to ask Grandma or neighbours (only ones you know!)
