250 lbs of beans, 250 lbs of grain, plastic storage containers so that rats don't eat my food, a cookstove, a 12-pack of lighters, matches, fuel, a really good tent, sleeping bag, pillow, tarp, clothing, a hat, raingear, books, a blank notebook with writing utensils, watercolor paints, a deck of cards (solitaire), yeast for making alcohol, a knife, shoes, sunglasses, a pair of carharts, pipe tobacco with pipe, and my imagination.

My SOG knife, some 550 para cord, my boonie hat and snorkeling gear. If you need more than that, you don't need to be on an island by yourself for a year.

if just one thing--it would be supply of some form of fire lighters--matches ciggy lighter etc...then advanced firstaid kit--then fishing gear--after that i'd be okay
