If you're friends, then give them something. Otherwise, it might seem strange.

I'm probably much older than you, but I'm assuming a "crush" is just someone you have a crush on and you are not dating him or her.
I'm not sure if I would describe it as desperate, but yea it seems a little much. Maybe a better idea would be to have some friends over for a holiday get-together and invite him/her. It might give you a little one-on-one time.....

Gifts are always okay if you expect nothing in return. Otherwise, be prepared for the consequences. A crush may not feel the way you do.

I say go for it. But I wouldn't make it anything too obvious like: a teddy bear, or cologne or something. Something simple that will make him remember you not remember to run from you. Good Luck.

Depends on if you and your crush even talk and know each other. If you don't, then yes it is desperate. If you do talk and know each other, then no.

No! It tells him you are thinking of him and care! Getting him a gift is a sweet idea. GL!

Depends on what you get him. Some things could be too flashy, too personal, or too assuming.
Be cautious.

No...and it would definitely solve the issue of him not knowing you like him...if he doesn't already...
