I would suggest not doing it yourself. It sounds like a good way to get an infection.
But if you are going to do it, then you could try ice. That's what people use when they pierce there ears.

Yes, i've had body parts pierced where the guy sprayed some stuff (can't help you with names, sorry) and I had to wait for about half an hour for it to work, before the needle went through and I didn't feel a thing.
Also, I have been told that in Spain some hospitals train nurses to body pierce, and they would give you anesthetic before they pierce any part of your body.

If you go to the pharmacy and go where the condoms are there is a tube jell for numbing your penis ( I know this sounds way out there ) but I have tried it on my penis and it numbs you right up it should work on the nose. There is no smell to it. and its about
$ 5 a tube appox.

Yeah, umm, I don't think this is one of those things you want to do at home. There are some things that are better to do yourself. And then there are those that aren't.
I'll give you a cookie if you guess which category this particular situation falls in...

Use ice, until its numb feeling, but I think you need someone who knows what they are doing to do it,,,, , if you have any common sense you will not do.
