I have lots of favorites, but I think the best one is It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart. Others are: A Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation-very funny movie!

There is one coming out called 'The Nativity', I think. Looks very good. Biblical story of Jesus birth.
If it is anything like 'One Night With the King', it is going to be very good.
edited to add:
'Gremlins' (the first gremlins movie) is also an X-mas movie. And I think the X-mas holiday comes around in the movie '12 monkeys'.
