My Mom had Alzheimers. I gave, gave, gave and no thanks, she was not capable. She taught me the true meaning of giving. We, as humans, usually expect a "pay back" when we do a kind deed and I now believe the true meaning of giving requires no pay back. Even though it was extremely difficult at times,; I now look back at it as an honor and a privilege to have cared for her.

Ahh yes. Ponderances of the universe and fate, spurred by the unruly demise of an innocent fruit fly. This actually happened this afternoon. It was buzzing around my lunch so I killed it.. And then I wondered, what would happen to the little guy? Did he have an afterlife waiting for him, as many people think humans do. The immediate answer is no. It's just a fly, it hasn't got a soul or anything.. Right? What makes us humans think we are so much better? In reality we are not, we are just another animal.. So I guess there really isn't more to life. The moral of this story is live your life for what it is. Just have fun and see/learn all that you possibly can. We are only here for a short while so by god we better make it good!
