Yes because that is not a water proof area. You need to change it out after swimming.

If you put it in properly, it shouldn't absorb too much. I've found sometimes the string does, but I tend to only swim about an hour at a time. However, be sure to change the tampon right after swimming, since the water probably is chemically or not perfectly clean and might cause an infection.

Yes they will somewhat, but not enough to dislodge on their own (unless also heavily saturated with blood). You should change your tampon after swimming though...as soon as possible.

Well...no. i mean it is inside your body. that is why you wear a tampon when swimming bc a pad won't do much except embarress you and get blood in the pool!?

Does your vagina take in water when you swim? No. So the tampon that is way up your vagina shouldnt. Hope that doesnt sound to gross..haha
