You raise a good point i think it's mostly young teenage girls who like them. They are not artists in my eyes they don't play instruments or write their own music.

I AM a huge Take That fan! Their music is great, they put emotion into their singing. If they weren't such a success in the 90's they would not of been so successful with their reunion!
I will continue to be fan for many many more years to come! If you don't like them, then don't listen to them!
and a message to phoenix: they do write their own music which is more than can be said for most of the artists around today! 75% is a remix of an old song!

Well they have just done a very successful return album, they have just done a fantastic, An Audience with Take That Live,
(The first and only ever live "An Audience with .......... show ) The guests are all showbiz people and they got standing ovations. Also Lulu made a guest of honour appearance and she got a massive reception. I personally am not a fan of take that but now all you haters have to Take That, so there. Get the Pun?

I think everyone needs to lighten up a little about music - i mean..ok take that used to be that typical "boyband" stuff...and maybe to a degree they still are...however, there are quite obviously more people out there who like them than the ones who dont - i mean to make it once - u gotta have fans...and its not like they split because they were lacking fans. But to come back 10 years on and still have it in 'em to make it to number 1 straight off means they have something. Good on 'em!

I have no idea... i hated them the 1st time round...
My universal theory is that if you get a bunch of pretty boys, dress them up nicely and give them a couple songs to sing... as long as they can just about hold a note... you got a number 1 album band....
Westlife and boyzone get thrown in that catagory too...

we dont all do youll find girls aged between 24 and 28 do as they were teenagers when they were around first time and want to feel like a teen again

They remid people of their youth dear girl and to give credit where credits due at least they wrote the majority of their own songs.

Your guess is as good as mine. I liked them at the beginning but, IMO, they became rubbish when they started doing slow songs. I was glad when they split up.
