Hi. Could anyone give me some figures for a cash flow forecast for a start up business with £10,000 to start with. I am having difficulties trying to come up with realistic figures for it and am unsure of the headings I require for a cash flow. Does anyone know of realistic figures that I can put in it. Thanks

It depends on the type of business. There is no way to accurately do any type of financial forecasting without knowing something about the business. There is a great set of templates with microsoft excel one of which is a cash flow forecast. It is gives a nice proffesional layout month by month with all the formulas you need. It also give all the key headers for all the potential receipts and payments. If you don't have the template you can get it from the microsoft website for free.

With regard to realistic numbers it depends completely on the business. You can get free advice gerneally these days if you look around and talk to banks so get as much help for free as possible.
