i have this little silver hoop earing that goes in your ear but i always put it on my lip just to see what it would look like and i was wondering if i got my lip pierced could i get something that size, or would it have to be bigger?

I have my lip pierced, I loove having it, adds a little "something" to my face ;)
I have a stud in my lip, not a hoop- but when I first pierced it the guy who did it told me to put in a thicker hoop, but not a big one... BUT he put one in that was big enough so that when my lip swelled (for about a day after I got it done) the hoop has to be big enough to not pinch your lip when its fat and swollen... then you leave that hoop in for about 3 weeks and you can switch it for something smaller. But you should put something not too skinny (think the gauge of it, ask the piercer) in it, because if you take out the hoop, and want to put a stud in, the posts on most studs are pretty thick... anyways, I love the look of lip rings, even on guys... good luck!

Why in the world are people getting lip piercing? They are ugly enough to look at someone with one on and hope they don't get suckered punch in the lips, that is a good way to get a split lip. Not only that, over period of time the hole in the lip will eventually get bigger and will cause permanent damage to teeth. If it is not clean right and done wrong in getting piercing anywhere on the body can create serious infection which can make that person very ill. Ok, I don't have a problem with ears, and nose piercing, but anywhere else on the body is totally extreme and in the wrong areas of the body. But hey that their decisions.

Honestly first of all you might want to ask yourselve are you sure you really want your lip pierced because really it's only gonna be unattractive to most girls. I don't know if that's true for everyone but most girls I know wouldn't be able to take home a guy with a lip piercing to their parents and actually have the parents approve of them. So if you're really sure you want it then go for it. And yeah I think you can get one with a hopp, but you don't want to get the loop too big because otherwise it would look a little tacky.

basically get a lip piercing on the edge. no longer each woman is going to love that however, so once you're gonna get it get it reason you like it, no longer on account which you choose human beings to. i might say basically initiate with lip, then whilst that heals in case you choose it get your tongue performed. i understand quite some as we communicate adult males with their tongue pierced, and that i do no longer see something incorrect with it. yet of direction, their are gonna be quite some people who hate it and inform you to no longer get it. in the top, it basically comes right down to you. Get what you choose to get and don't get some thing as a results of fact its what somebody else needs you to get.

don't pierce your lip.people always feel uncomfortable beside people who have piercings in strange places.plus it's easy to get an infection.i know a girl who got a lip piercing.it looked terrible and got infected and stuff.lots a people started avoiding her afterwards.
