You may want to check with your local state employment office. They often will assist you in finding a good job. Most companies will advertise positions when they need people. Some cities have local websites where employers can post positions. You could also check with major employers in the area. Hospitals are always in need of people, as are manufacturers. One other place you may want to check is the Chamber of Commerce. Most have a major employers list. If you can get a copy, just start making phone calls. Convenience stores are also usually in need of people. I am sure you will find something.

Try putting your resume on monster.com I got a lot of calls after doing that! Also, a buddy of mine got a night job at a warehouse by going to an employment agency. He went to CoWorx off 360 and N. Green Oaks. He loves it, and already got promoted! Good Luck!
