Not his money. He doesn't have any left, unless he has it in a Swiss Bank Account.
I think its because he is black and had a lot of fans who felt sorry for him.
The jury ( just like in the OJ case) was afraid of repercussions if they found him guilty. There might be another riot.
A famous black celebrity cannot be found guilty EVER...EVER...EVER....that is big no no....in the black world, no matter what they do; they are justified.

Michael Jackson didn't go to jail because he bribed the judge and the jury! He was let free because he is innocent!!!! So stop saying **** about a person who you don't know! If you don't like Michael then why do you even answer a question about him? Leave him alone you fags! He is innocent! Give him the freedom he deserves!

I think it was the jury and not his money. You have to remember, Micheal Jackson was and still is an idle to many people. There is no possible way any person on that jury could make an unbiased decision about him. So on one hand everyone wants to see the man go to prison, but on the other no one wants to be responsible for sending their childhood hero to jail. Does that make any sense to you? I personally think he should be sitting in a cell this very minute.

i think it had to do with alot.. just like every other phuckin' "star" icon out there.. you know if that was you or me, we would have so been in jail.. just like the Bush daughters and how they did the fake precriptions for xanax or vicodin and they didn't get anything, you know if i would have done that i would have been in so much trouble.. so i guess the saying "pays to know people (and have money)" really is true.. damn its so hard in the real world.. i wonder about this sh*t all the time.. man i could be way rich if i was famous cause i would be selling stuff and just makin' and makin' the money..lol they have it so easy and act like their hurting... aceholes...lol good question... best wishes!

I think it's not just the money; it's a combination of celebrity, money, his longevity in the business - us knowing him when he was a child and genuine doubt that the boy's mother is not a scam artiste.

Another defendant with none of those criteria but with the doubt only would have been found guilty.

Yes his money and his status! If he was just an everyday guy he would have been in jail first time round.

He faced his trial and was declared innocent. Why bring the same old question up again and again. He was found Not Guilty. Money had nothing to do with it. His trial was legal and fair.
