Sun sign and moon sign?

Question

I'm confused. I was born 11/13/89 and I know I'm a scorpio but what's my rising and what does this say about me? What determines the other sign?

So... according to the link Milly put in, I am a scorpio with a capricorn rising.

So, then how do you determine your moon sign? Or is that it?

The combination of your Sun sign and your Moon sign shows a terrific creative force in your nature. To do a Birth (or Natal) Chart on you an Astrologer needs the exact time of your birth and where you were born (i.e.: Orlando, Florida, USA) in ADDITION to your date of birth. This is the only way to find your TRUE Rising Sign (or Ascendant), your Moon Sign and what all the other signs all the other Heavenly Bodies fall in. Your Sun Sign while important, can give MORE info by finding out what House and Sign it falls in and what Heavenly Bodies Aspect it and HOW the Aspect it.

EDIT: You find our your Moon Sign by having a Natal Chart done. You can dowload and install a free program from this web site:

http://home.att.net/~ag2kh/awftp.htm

that will allow you to Cast your own Charts.

BUT, you absolutely HAVE to follow the installation instructions to a "T" because this prog was written for an earlier version of Windows than 2000/XP. If you don't install it correctly you won't be able to use it.

Go to www.astro.com. Make yourself a birth chart (you need all of your info, including time/location). That's honestly your best bet. I've found astro the most reliable, especially if your Rising sign is VERY close to changing (mine is literally degrees away from being in another sign and Astro is the only site that's been accurate). You can find your moon sign just knowing your birth date, but if it's a day that the moon is changing signs, again, it is important to use your birth time.

Rising sign needs Exact birth time and place to compute, basicly its the sign rising to the east at the time of birth. it determins how others see you. your way of going about your life and your "mask"

the Rising/Sun charts arent always accurate. it would show that i have an aquarius rising when i infact have a Sagittarius rising. so i would suggest using astro.com or just google "free birth chart" alot of them use the same ephemeris'
