I'm looking for serious answers here. Nothing along the lines of "duh" or "of course".
I'm just wondering, because I haven't been able to find a woman who thinks that it's important for a man to live his life with integrity. Most women that I know think that it's great when a man is unfaithful, lazy, bullying, and dishonest in general. They view him as being a "bad boy" who has "edge" and is a "challenge".
On the other hand, a man who is confident, mentally and physically healthy, a community leader, intelligent, romantic, honest, and devoted to his wife and children, is seen as "boring" and "too nice".
Why is this? Do these women have low self-esteem and think that they don't deserve better . . . or, do men of integrity have to start being losers in order for women to appreciate them?

Just be yourself and not leave a fake live for her. She can either take who you are or leave it.

I fell in love this this girl who was being beat up by her boyfriend, I know she loved me too and we both wanted her to leave him so we could be together.
But she chose to stay with him even though he raped her and beat her up. She would never say anything and my life was threatened but to this day i still regret my choices.
I really feel most women just love to have the 'bad boy' because of the image it gives them and also the protection it gives them.
I agree most women don't look for the family man anymore, and when you do find a woman like this they won't wait for you they just want to get married, have kids and don't really care about your career aspirations or plans you mad during your life.
It doesn't matter if the bad boy is unhealthy mentally or physically the women will always go for him over the good guy. The girl i loved and still loved to this day had a very low self esteem and constantly told me she did not deserve better and how much of a looser she was. It was difficult to hear.
He eventually changed her but to be just as bad as him, I love how she was the way before but not what she has become thanks to him.

I don't know where you live but, it's extremely important to me. There is no more well thought out answer than that. Writing a book on why will not make me any more intelligent.
Sounds like you know a lot of misguided women or you just can't get a date. Sorry for that.

Yes, they are like that. Strange creatures, women. The trouble is, most of them are not looking for a boyfriend or a spouse, they just want a little project to work on for a few months.

it had better....there are too many women who get into some very dangerous relationships that should have been avoidable....it sometimes appears that there are women who like some 'men' think with their crotch instead of their minds
