I haven't been in the Christmas Spirit in over 10 years. (I am 31, by the way)
I don't know if it's a combination of the over commercialization of the Season, or what it could be. Just wondering if others out there felt the same as I do and kinda wished it came only every other year.
I do prefer Halloween because what other time of year can you dress like an idiot and get free candy? :) I'm all about candy! :)

I am 35 and I too have been feeling blah about the holidays. I think it's ridiculous how commercialized it is..I think people get really stupid this time of the year...fighting over things at the store etc. Christmas used to be my favorite but, anymore the holidays with my children are split with my ex so we don't get to relax and just enjoy the day. We have to run here, there and everywhere. Plus, MONEY!! Ya know ..my husband and I have 6 children and it's hard . Personally I think we should just all make gifts to give to each other... I'm sure the kids would disagree but, I would appreciate it more.Anyway, I think that we all tend to forget what CHRIST-mas is supposed to be all about. You try and cheer up and have a WONDERFUL holiday season. And, I will too! :)

I am feeling REAL sad this year !! It is tough whenyouare BROKE!! I have a great husband that works so hard for us ,but i have a lot of medical problems & my son is going to IRAQ in january!!! We have never had a X-MAS with presents ,but make sure the grand-kids get something not that i need anything just would like a break for my husband&!! We live from week to week and pray everyday for a blessing. We rent a mobile home and hope someday to have our own place.That would only happen with a MIRACLE!!Hope you have a great one!! I am thankful for what i have !!!!

I'll drink to this one with you,,, I am BAH HUMBUG all the way,,, and halloween is good,,, since Im a crossdresser I can go out wearing a dress or something that is meant for the females,,,, ( I like the candy too, and I am 46 )
