I'm 21 and he is 32, we have been together for 2 years now and want to stay together and deal with all of our difference in life. We know it's hard and we're trying to accept the difference and live our lifes normal. It has it's up and downs like all relationships but we have so much love for each other and are as comfortable with each other as we could ever be with anyone else. The only thing we worry about is can we make it forever with all the difference we have in our lifes and can we deal with the way some people look at us forever? And wondering is it the wrong thing in God's eyes? And if it is really that wrong to mix our races to have a child together. What do you think you would do in our situation, coming from your heart. Please answer as if it was you and your life with someone. Thank you so much..... and bless you

It is absolutley ok to think you can make it. If you truly love each other nothing can tear you apart. Just make it a point to learn as much as you can about each others background and if you have kids educate them about both backgrounds. As far as society goes most of us are mature enough to accept people for who they are and not the color of their skin. And as for those who don't ignore them they need to educate themselves.

Wow in this day and age we still have people like u, it's incredible. U r worried about what others say way too much. U proclaim to know God but u r so far away from him. Honey if u LOVE this man as much as u say u do then go ahead and marry him and live as wonderful a life as God will allow u to live for as long as u have the opportunity to live together. We r all from the same race, the human race. Scientists have proven that we r as close to being one race as 99.99% the same. If u have children u'll have beautiful ones urs and his. His and ur happiness is all that matters and God blesses all unions in his name.

Twenty-one is young. You have much more to discover in you life before marrying. This man is much older than you with a world of experience that you don't have. He needs to find someone near his age. You have only begun to find out about life. I do not believe there is anything wrong with marrying another race as long as you fully understand their culture and what they expect from a woman. You also have to know what you want out of life. Once you commit to a child then you are committed for the next 20 years. There is a lot to think about. Talk to your mom or dad or other adult relative you think you can trust and has the experience in life to help you find the right answer for you. It is very romantic to think of marrying someone from another country, but it may not be so romantic in real life. Experience the world before you commit. If he is right for you he will understand your need to grow and will wait.

Of course there is nothing wrong with it and it CAN WORK. I am also in a relationship with an Indian guy and we do have issues, but we are very happy.
If you are serious about dealing with you and your fiance's issues, you should join the forum Married to India at www.marriedtoindia.com
We are a group of women who are involved in intercultural relationships with Indian men who support each other with issues arising in our relationships.
Hope to see you there

If you guys love each other then that's all that counts.
And there's nothing wrong with mixed race children (though I suppose I am biased, because I am one).

If you truly love him, that's all that matters. My mom is white and my dad is black. Sure people talk about them, even her own family, but who cares. As long as you are happy. God, doesn't care if you are not the same race, that why he created so many.
