i drag the file to the itunes icon but after that nothing happens it doesnt even apear in the library of itunes

I had this problem when I got my new iPod.
You have to make sure the video files you are dragging into iTunes are an mp4 (mpeg-4) file, not wmv or avi...mpeg-4!. iTunes or the iPod dont accept anything else.
If your videos arent mpeg-4 you can convert them with a video converter program. Heres a link to the iPod video Converter..it is free, it is also not a trial, so its pretty good!

If that doesnt work, then you have to re-install iTunes or call Apple.

u need to first go to file and then import file and import then sync ur ipod also located under file

try reinstalling itunes, then try adding the videos again.
