The shows are '24' and 'Lost'. I really wished I could watch them, but I have no clue who is who and what is going on, cuz I started too late. HELP!

"24" starts with a new premise each year. They give you enough info in the begininng of each season that even if you never watched before, you'll be able to get it.

"LOST" on the other hand, you almost need to have watched from the beginning. ABC's website can offer you a synopsis of each episdoe since the beginning, but I recommend buying or renting the previous seasons. There is so much more than just what is on the website and so much of it is visual that you just won't get the whole picture without actually watching it. Once you watch those, you'll be better able to go to ABC and see what has happened so far in this season. Fortunately the season doesn't start up again until February so it gives you a lot of time to catch up.

Most video stores have the past seasons available to rent...It would probably take too much time to explain it on the answer boards, but one thing I know for sure, while Lost has the same premise for every season, 24's theme has changed each season. Each season occurs over the span of 24 hours with each episode being 1 hour of that day.
